Pagudpud~Laoag~Vigan

From Pagudpud down to Laoag then Vigan as our last stop.

Since our first stop is Pagudpud, we took the bus from Partas Terminal Sampaloc Manila. I believe this is the only bus terminal that offers trip straight to Pagudpud (not really sure though) .  It’s a 14 hours drive from Manila.Paid 4 tickets from Manila, picked up my friends at Dau. Bus fare is Php730 per person.

Tip: it’s always a good idea to take your trip at night. No traffic, you just have to sleep at the bus and woke up in your destination

Pagudpud at Day 01

Budget:

  • Guide/Trike > Php1,200 / 4 pax = Php300 per person

  • Whole day food budget: Php300 per person (Carenderia food, no resto in Pagudpud)

It is the 4th longest bridge in the Philippines. The bridge is 1.3km long and connects the Maharlika Highway from Laoag, Ilocos Norte to Cagayan Valley. So in case, pwede ka na dumerecho ng Cagayan Valley Bes 🙂

2. Bantay Abot Cave

No entrance fee.

All selfies below were taken at the Bantay Abot Cave. Too much selfies, sorry. 🙂

Bantay Abot Cave means “a mountain with a hole”.

3. Bangui Windmills

Finally, got to see these giants. And giant waves too. A bit scary though.

Gloomy weather when we visited Bangui Windmill. No good lighting for our photos but in exchange we’ve got this beautiful rainbow. Thank you Lord!
Scary waves. Para kang lalamunin ng alon.

4. Kapurpurawan Rock Formation

Sad to say, due to lack of time we did not make it to the rock formation. I-empanada mo na lang yan bes!

Last spot at Pagudpud before heading back to Hotel.

Based from my research, there is 20php entrance fee and 300php cottage fee. but surprisingly, we did not pay any such amount. The whole swimming time was for free. Weeew!
